The 2 ladies, one was heavy and in a black jacket walking around doing nothing but harassing people about leaning on rails, did nothing but make us feel unwelcome. Being rude is absolutely unnecessary. Maybe they should remember that this is a publicly owned zoo and that they should take their hefty backside to feed the animals instead of harassing the guests. Worry less about what your guests are doing and more about your actual job, as an employee of this publicly owned zoo. Clearly their ego has them confused on their role to the public.

Visited Safari Lights this year and was not really sure what to expect. It was worth the spend. Truly, a fantastic display of wild animals and holiday decor. Everyone seemed to be having a great time trying to take in all of the magic. The light show and music were well calibrated, too, making for a really enjoyable night "on the town." GOOD JOB!

We're looking forward to visiting again in the daytime!

We had a fantastic time at the OKC Zoo! Everything was very clean, and it was a wonderful experience for both adults and kids. Definitely plan for more than 4 hours if you want to see everything, especially with little ones – there’s a lot of walking and a few areas with hills.

The Christmas lights decorations were beautiful and incredibly creative; our kids were mesmerized by them. The zoo also offers a generous 50% discount if you have food stamps, which was a nice surprise.

My only suggestion would be to add a few more dining options throughout the park. We couldn’t see all the animals due to time, but we’ll definitely be back. Overall, it was a memorable day for the whole family!

Definitely a must visit and worth every penny. Lots and lots of animals covering various species. The zoo is huge. A 3-4 hour walk is enough to cover most of the place. A map is placed in every corner for routes and one of the guides near the map at the entrance was super helpful to show us the route for a place we needed to visit. The old man deserves a kudos for his enthusiasm towards helping customers. Though it's a zoo, I felt the animals have a good eco system built for them and they were very well maintained. All the wild animals were playful and it seemed they were enjoying themselves. I've been to several zoos before but this one stood out because of the huge ecosystem, healthy animals and proper guides at the zoo. It was an absolute fun!

This zoo is so far the best one I’ve been to. I love that there are many possible angles that allow you to be able to view the animals. There was a lot of specific information for the individual animals themselves. The staff was super friendly and provided a ton of information as well. We had a chance to watch the lungfish working on his feeding training. I love all the planned upgrades. Highly recommended!!
